Spring Break

Spring Break is the first tropical beach vacation for many people. What is considered to be a right of passage for many college students turns into an eye opening experience creating life-long travelers and beach combers.

As with most beach vacations, there is a wide range of options. Some locations party all day and night (Cancun, Cabo, Negril, Ft. Lauderdale, etc...) making the trip less about the location and more about transfering the party scene from your college to a tropical location. Other locations (US Virgin Islands, Costa Rica, etc...) are less known as spring break locations allowing a more relaxed vacation with a focus on the sand, surf, snorkeling, and exotic sight-seeing.

Wherever you decide to travel for your spring break, remember that you are visitng the home of a local population who will be ready to welcome your tourist dollars as long as you respect their tropical paradise.

Jamaica Spring Break - Negril and Montego Bay - Jamaica is a wonderful place with laid back people, beautiful beaches, scenic waterfalls, and great local restaraunts. Negril, on the west coast of Jamaica, has been a favorite spring break location because of the beautiful sunsets, the 7 mile beach, and an incredible Jamaican party atmosphere.

Mexico Spring Break - Cancun, Cabo, etc... - Spring break trips to Mexico vary by location. There are many spring break beach locations that offer laid back relaxation. Cancun and Cabo offer the exact opposite as these two Mexican cities turn into full scale campus party locations each year during spring break.

Florida Spring Break - Ft. Lauderdale, Daytona Beach, Orlando, Miami, Keys, etc... - A spring break trip to Florida offers a great beach and party location without the expensive airfare and passport arrangements required by foreign travel. Costa Rica Vacations - If you want a lush tropical vacation with some of the best beaches in the world, take a spring break trip to Costa Rica. Manuel Antonio National Park is a great tropical paradise that focuses more on natural beauty than on traditional spring break activities.

Caribbean Destinations - Including the Virgin Islands, the Turks and Caicos, Aruba, and many other Caribbean island destinations. Many of the islands are smaller vacation destinations with less of a party focus in favor of experiencing a relaxing tropical paradise.
