Warm Vacations

I was thinking about a trip to Orlando, FL. I hear there are some good golf courses there and some nice resorts.

My main concern is that the entire place is over run with kids and families. Is this true?

There are plenty of other places I can go to find good golf courses.

Is it worth going to Orlando if I don't have kids? Are there things to do for adults without kids in Orlando?

There are a lot of nice golf courses in the Orlando area. If you want to avoid the Disney family vacation crowd, just stay at one of the nicer golf resorts where families don't usually go.

If you can swing it, I highly recommend Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club & Lodge. It is the location of the Bay Hill PGA tour event. The resort had a bunch of renovations in 2006. They have some nice stay and play packges.

I agree that the golf courses alone would be worth visiting, but I'm also a sucker for rollercoasters and theme parks. I'll be the one screaming like a little girl on the rides intended for kids and teenagers.
