I know some people still travel to the Caribbean during the summer, but the numbers must go way down compared to the winter months.

How do the resorts in the Caribbean and Mexico stay afloat during the summer months?

Do they have really good deals to lure people with? I rarely hear about good deals for warm vacation destinations during the summer.

Maybe the resorts host more local people during the summer months?

Focus on summer wedidngs?

Maybe they make enough money during the high season that they can survive during the summer? However, if the number of guests go way down during the summer I wonder if the resorts lay off some of their employees.

Does anyone kow what warm vacation resorts do during the summer months?

Makes perfect sense to me unless the resort closes down for the summer. You gotta figure the resorts are in begging mode for people to come spend some money with them in the summer.
