Would You Rather Go To Las Vegas or A Beach Resort?

When it is cold in January and February, I need to get somewhere warm as quickly as possible. I personally think of going to a nice beach resort in the Caribbean, but a friend of mine is always trying to get me to go to Las Vegas.

I guess the main difference is that I'm looking to relax in a warm destination while my firend is looking for an action packed party scene.

Should I give up one of my winter beach vacations to go to Vegas instead?
