Disney Golf Vacations

Are Disney Resorts primarily for children or would people recommend it as a good place for a husband and wife to have a golf vacation?

I've been considering a few different locations for a golf vacation, and I stumbled on the Disney site and had a look at the golf courses and resorts in Orlando, Florida. It looks pretty good, but I'm not sure I want to be anywhere near all the families that must cram the roads and resorts near the Disney Theme Park.

Has anyone taken a Disney Golf vacation and would you recommend it?
